Nicoletta Apolito is a Ph.D student in Human Sciences at the University of Verona, where she investigates the Intercultural Competences used in the tourism management of foreign tourists in Verona and its province. Currently she also collaborates with the Center of Intercultural Studies of the University of Verona as social media analyst and audio-visual language researcher. She has recently started investigating the issues caused by the over-tourism and the development of an educational training course to balance the co-existence between visitors and natives of a territory.
