The experience in the United Arab Emirates Football League has revealed to me how amazing it is to work with people from different cultures, withe a unique passion and shared vision. Cross-cultural aspects in Football Governance have become more and more interesting to me and were object of my Ph.D. thesis: " Strategic review on Compliance Governance of the GCC Countries; parallelism's hypothesis with the Football World". The thesis allowed me to report on compliance at the organizational level.
Here some themes investigated: Culture as compliance instrument; The Gulf Cooperation Council and Corporate Governance in the GCC Countries.
