Gianluca Solla, associate professor of theoretical philosophy at the Department of Human Sciences. My research interests are aimed at the comparison between philosophy and cinema in light of the question of subjectivation processes, with particular attention to the ongoing psychoanalytic debate. At the heart of these interests lies the relationship between word and image, an area that is questioned in reference to the theme of the unconscious. Currently this theme is developed in the form of research on contemporary forms of experience, in particular with regard to the visual dimension.
I have been a visiting professor in several foreign universities. I edit PHILM magazine. Philosophy and Cinema and the inter-university research center of the same name. 
I have been visiting professor at various foreign universities.
Co-director of the “Phi / Psy” series by the publisher Orthotes, he is also president of Philosophy's Teaching Course.

Philosophy of images It is a field of research dedicated to photography and cinema, as well as to the images of memory, as they contribute to the formation of the processes of subjectivation, in their relationship with language. Roots and contemporary cultures
METAPHYSICS AND ONTOLOGY
The object of the research will concern the conceptual and lexical structures of the debate about migrations. The aim of the research is to elaborate models of cohabitation already in progress and to show how the presence of subjects from other cultures restructures the idea of living, the very form of the cities and constitutes a true "invention of the everyday life".
