Learning outcomes

The purpose of the laboratory is to provide skills that allow planning and teaching physical education with the children of the Primary School.

Students will learn:
The peculiarities of physical education teaching with children of primary school;
The main contents for the training of motor abilities and physical capacities.

Students will be able to lead practical Physical Education lessons.

Syllabus

In laboratory activities will be developed the following topics: basic motor skills, individual and group physical activities with and without tools; paths and circuits; contact and contrast games; basic skills of athletics and artistic gymnastic, games of the folk tradition, folk dances, expressive physical activities.

Assessment methods and criteria

The assessment is divided into three parts: the first is a short multiple choice questionnaire (about ten minutes). Those who will pass the test, immediately after, will have one hour to prepare a scheme of instructional design dedicated to a physical education objective. The instructional design will be object of the final interview together with the general knowledges about the course. All parts of the assessment will take place consecutively.
