Despite the amount of data collected, the use of the Caregiving System Scale (Colledani, D., Meneghini, A. M., Mikulincer, M., & Shaver, P. R. (2021). The Caregiving System Scale. European Journal of Psychological Assessment 38(5), 385-396) is still limited, both for research and diagnostic purposes, as the cut-scores for the deactivation and hyperactivation sub-scales have not been set. The lack of cut-scores makes it difficult to quantify scores of “optimal” versus “non optimal” (hyperactivated, deactivated, problematic) activations of the system. This project aims to define these cut-scores.
