Erica Neri completed a PhD in “Education in Contemporary Society” at the University of Milano-Bicocca (XXXVI Cycle - scientific-disciplinary sector M-GGR/01) where she is currently involved in the research project “Digital Cartography and Fictional Representation for the appropriation of lived space by school-age youth - Department of Excellence Project 2023-2027.” Over the years, she has cultivated a strong interest in geography education and teaching, focusing on the use of creative methodologies. Her research areas range from ecocriticism to outdoor education. She is an active member of AGEI, AIIG and the GREAM research group, engaged in marine environmental education.
