M. Claudia Di Maio is lecturer at the University Language Centre and temporary professor (L/LIN 14) at the Department of Human Sciences. She is member of the Fachverband Deutsch als Fremdsprache (FaDaF) and of the ‘Ortslektoren’ network of the DAAD - German Academic Exchange Service.
Her interests include the acquisition and teaching of German as a foreign language, German academic language and the analysis of German vocabulary and structures from a functional pragmatic perspective.
