Simona Carta (1977) has a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature, a Master’s degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation and Post-graduate specializations in Advanced E-learning Instructional Design, Graphics for Learning and Gamification.
She has worked in the e-learning field since 2004, when she started dealing with macro and micro instructional design of training courses and evaluation systems, monitoring activities and storyboarding techniques. She collaborated with “La Sapienza” University (Rome) as a teacher for “IeLM-International eLearning Management” Master’s degree, University of Naples Federico II and she is still collaborating with University of Verona. She was a scientific consultant for some research projects for the application of Artificial Intelligence to e-learning technologies. She is coauthor of the book “.GET. Guide to the Education Technology” and ““SLIDEsign: How to design and create effective presentations”.
At the moment, she is training specialist and co-founder of WeMole srl where, apart from managing different projects, she continues her research activity in the fields of Multimedia Learning and Instructional Design, Knowledge systems representative tools, games and learning, new media and communication, AI, LMS.
