Curriculum

Francesco Vittori is a Post-doc research fellow at the Department of Human Sciences in General and Social Pedagogy (SSD M-PED/01). His research work is articulated through three intertwined lines:

  1. Critical and social pedagogy
  2. Gender studies, intersectionality, and female bullying
  3. Ecological citizenship
  4. Agroecology and sustainable consumption-production practices.

He began his research work by obtaining a Ph.D. in Human Capital Formation Training and Labor Market Relations, at the University of Bergamo with the project "Feeding cities: the potential of sustainable agriculture for economic and social development". His thesis intertwines Social Movements Studies and Alternative Food Networks literature, comparing the ongoing dynamics of agroecology in Europe (Northern Italy) and Latin America (South Brazil).

He is currently involved in the research-action project “Female bullying at school: co-designing contrast actions with students” under the scientific supervision of Prof. Antonia De Vita funded by the Joint Research 2021 grant.

Since 2020, he has been coordinating the research project “Formal education in the Sem Terra Movement: between agrarian reform, agroecology and gender issues”
