My research activity is mainly focused on the fields of medieval art history and medieval epigraphy. In the first area, I have particularly worked on sculpture and architecture from the 12th and 13th centuries in the Verona region, as well as on Romanesque baptismal fonts in Northern Italy, giving importance to liturgical sources and archival documentation. In the second, I have focused on the study and publication of Veronese epigraphs from the 6th to the 14th centuries.

The research team works on the study and knowledge of the Veronese artistic and architectural heritage of the Middle Ages, with particular reference to the centuries from the XI to the end of the Middle Ages.
