After graduating in Medicine and Surgery, I completed the specialization in Hygiene and Preventive Medicine at the University of Verona.
My area of work expertise is the organization of health services and Public Health.
In particular, I am involved in:
- Clinical disease networks and time dependent networks;
- Diagnostic therapeutic care pathways that decline the pathway of the patient with specific pathology from the perspective of hospital-territory integration;
- Organization and planning of health services in compliance with Ministerial Decree 70/2015 “Regulation defining qualitative, structural, technological and quantitative standards for hospital care”
- Regulation on the definition of models and standards for the development of territorial care in the National Health Service DM 77/2022 and its declination in the regional sphere in the areas of operational sites;
- Care-Related Infections;
- National plan to combat antimicrobial resistance;
- Topics of interest:
- Public Health and Access to Care;
- Health inequalities;
- Travel Medicine.
Student reception is done remotely, via zoom. Appointment can be requested by emailing mariasilvia.varalta@univr.it to arrange time and date.
