Learning outcomes

The course is carried out in practical and theoretical form. The lessons include, in addition to classroom presentation of subject content, an active involvement of female students and students with interactive forms of dialogue and simulation to be carried out also with hands-on activities in the gym. In the latter mode lab hours will be those absolutely prevailing there. Appropriate attire is required in the activities in the gym (sneakers clean, suit or shorts and a t-shirt).

The course aims to provide knowledge and skills that allow the planning, organizing and conducting physical activities with pupils of the school of childhood and primary.

Students will learn about:
• fundamental epistemological elements of physical education;
• the characteristics of the teaching of physical activities with school children of childhood;
• the main content for the training of motor skills in line with the "Ministerial Guidance" of school physical education-related Fields and areas.
Students will be able to produce:
• programming of physical activities for children
• operational Programming of modules/units of teaching/learning units/lessons

Syllabus

Tips on the main issues related to physical activity in childhood and adolescence: psycho-motor development, health and well-being, lifestyles. Will be analyzed in detail the main theories of motor learning and the methodological approach/educational situations. Will be also attention to the analysis of the content of the activity through the construction of educational courses and teaching units and a simulated cases.

Topics to be covered in the lessons: the themes will be mainly related to the Ministerial document "recommendations ... for the first cycle"
or epistemological foundations of exercise 3 – 6 years: cognitive, emotional, healthful or terminology and motor experience fields of humans or game and the game forms "motion" or teach – learn new motor skills: capacity building methods – psycho-motor skills

Assessment methods and criteria

The evaluation involves the formulation of an educational planning written followed by an interview on the script and to the establishment of knowledge drawing general course.
To prepare for the exam you should refer not only to texts indicated, even to the Clipboard and materials made available by the teacher on the e-learning platform of the University of Verona.
