Learning outcomes

Course aims:
the purpose of the course is to approach the coming primary school teachers with the tools developed by the research in mathematics education and with the developments and applications of mathematics in the real life, to be able to analyze classroom situations, to be able to act in appropriate technical and verbal way, to have the basic knowledge of mathematics, extending what they learned in the course “ Matematica per la formazione di base 1”.

Syllabus

Content and topics:

- Elements of Euclidean and Cartesian geometry.
- Elements of solid geometry.
- Elements of probability theory.
- Elements of descriptive statistics.

Assessment methods and criteria

Assessment method: final written exam with even theoretical questions.
