Learning outcomes

The students at the end of the course will be able to learn about the main stages of development of online education; teaching strategies for training within online learning environments; analyzing Knowledge Management systems and e-learning in business contexts; experience organizing a learning event online using the mobile devices.

Syllabus

• the history of online education: from FAD to apps.
• Design in a complex society. Cultural transformations, new social and cultural paradigms.
• Learning 2.0 in business contexts. From web 2.0 to web 3.0.
• instructional design models for the articulation of online learning environments: from e-Learning platforms to self paced courses on iTunes platform U.
• teaching strategies, methodologies and tools.
• the Organization of an e-Learning platform (LMS): tasks, roles, functions.

Notes
The course includes lessons and thematic case studies. During the course there will be an experimental activity in which students will be required to complete a project work in order to acquire specific skills online design.
