Social Service Methodology and Models for Programming, Management and Evaluation of Inter-institional Interventions (2010/2011)

Learning outcomes

The course is set the objective to prepare the student to the social work in a mutable context in which the orientations are evident to the production of actions evaluation, of quality, of standard of product and service. The construction and the evaluation of the projects it develops inside the systems of welfare as integrated, participated and sustainable. For such reasons it seems necessary to consider as objects of the planning both the “Services” understood as stable systems of offer both the “Projects” understood as solutions to activate innovative interventions in the social work.

The course, in the first part, it intends to furnish elements of theoretical knowledge and methodological competences for the construction of turned social projects to the collectivity. In the second part, it intends to set attention to the construction of the project individualized in which the assessment, the outcomes and the tools of dialogical assessment are necessary to sustain the interventions institutional of social work. Meanings, actors, methodologies and tools will traditionally be introduced in a perspective of comparison both for the institutional aspects, both for those innovative on the plan of the responsibilities.

The construction and the use of tools of planning and evaluation for the interventions institutional, close to the new directions for the social work what the co-planning, represents the thread conductor of the program of the course. To support of the theoretical lessons the use of different models of construction of projects will be proposed, the comparative analysis of the results achieved by the Plans of Zone in the different regional realities, the experimentation of tools used by the professionals in the social work of community.
Particularly the followings matters will be faced:

1. The job for projects in the system of the Welfare and the horizon of sustainability..
2. The processes of co-construction and co-planning in an integrated system: different models to comparison.
3. The working groups in the social one with particular reference to the groups in the cycle of life of the Plan of Zone. The lines it drives regional and the role of the local communities.
4. The planning of area and the projects objective. The necessary trials to turn the projects into compatible services with the system of the offers. Methodologies and tools to reach objective appraisable and of quality.
5. To build and to appraise projects individualized according to dialogical perspective. The tools of evaluation. The project “Quadro”.
6. The area common of professionalism. The discipline and the multidimensional in the groupwork. Role and functions of the U.V.M.D.
7. The activation of the community relationships and the processes of share between interdependence and solidarity. The experience of the projects of proximity among families.
8. The processes of inclusion and social exclusion. New profiles of risk and vulnerability. The contribution of the search in the social work.
