Learning outcomes

Objective of the course is the knowledge of the fundamental aspects of the organization and the dynamics of the market and the politics of labour, with a particular attention to the recent developments that bring to constitute a society of the jobs. Concerning the politics of labour, there will be furnished elements to contextualize the particularities of the Italian situation in the European perspective, assigning a space to reflect on the relationship among politics of labour and general orientations of the systems of Welfare State. Through the close examination of some specific themes, conceptual and analytical tools will be furnished for producing a multidimensional reading of the relationships among individual, society and labour.

The first part faces the aspects related to the transformations of the world of labour that are characterizing the passage to the society of the jobs, with particular reference to the changes in the productive trials, in the organization and in the contents of the work. The second part treats the aspects related to the dynamics of the market and the politics of the labour, drawing a picture of the particularities in Italy and Europe.
