Learning outcomes

The course , once depicted the fundamental concepts about the legal systems and the sources of law , is first almed at delineating a comprehensive framework of the territorial structures of the Republic , and thus examining in detail the bodies and the functions of the Regions , Provinces , Metropolitan Cities and Municipalities. The topics inherent to the reciprocal relationships of such organizational structures as well as with the State and their financial autonomy will also be covered .
This all in order to provide the students with both a general insight and a specific knowledge of the several aspects of the system of the Regions and local Entities.

-The basic items of legal systems and of the sources of law
-The organizational models of the territorial entities in democratic States
-Origin and development of the Italian system of territorial organizations
-Forms of government , bodies and functions of the Regions
-Bodies and functions of the Municipalities
-Bodies and functions of the Provinces
-Relationships between State , Regions and local Entities
-The financial autonomy of the Regions and of the local Entities
