Meeting authors and texts of researchers which have offered their reflections on the educational events, that have constituted the human reality for a long time, intends to contribute to the overcoming of the risk of a formation too much technical and concentrated on the professionalism, without a suitable comparison with the world of the personal and civic values, as they are introduced in to evolve some historical situations.
The history of the pedagogy in its various authors and in its tendencies of thought, mainly of the Twentyth Century. The thought and the work of J. Dewey with the close examination of his principal pedagogic work, Democracy and education.
The lessons in direct form can be alternated with reading and comment of documents and possible seminars of close examination.
