The most important research of the team concerning the basilica of S. Zeno, the Romanesque in Verona and in its district, the architecture and artistic experiences of mendicant orders, the court art and aristocratic construction.
The group is connected to the annual doctoral conferences in History of medieval art, in various Italian universities (2013-2019). In addition, the results of the research are published in the series "Verona-ae", where young scholars work, and "Studies of medieval art", as well as in the reports "Minima medievalia".
The group is linked to an important activity of scientific divulgation, third mission and consulting.
