Curriculum

Chiara Zamboni is an associate professor. Shw has researched for several years within the field of sexual difference, intended as an hermeneutical method for the reading of the signs of reality, and as an orienting tool within subjective, relational and contextual transformative practices. In this sense, her research inserts itself in the current direction of the department as Ethics, for the attention to practices and existential mode that it requires. It should be noted that an investigation of this kind requires a precise theoretical and conceptual framework, linguistic invention, and an experimentation with the relationship between the sexed process of subjectivation, poetic logos and philosophic thought in context.

This research is tied to the female philosophical research group “Diotima”, of which Chiara Zamboni has been part since its foundation at the University of Verona in 1984.

Her research is also linked to two centres of our department. The CESDEF centre, for the work related to the prospect of thought around sexual difference; and the “Tiresia” centre, for the theoretical investigation of transformative practices.
