Curriculum

Anna Maria Meneghini is a  researcher in Dynamic Psychology at the Department of Human Sciences. Her studies have always been focused on motivations and emotions. Her interests are especially aimed at measuring these dynamics in individuals and groups with specific attention to professional and non-professional relationships. In particular, my research, within the departmental research line entitled "Training and organizations: emotions and motivations", focuses on the motivations to prosocial behavior (volunteering), on the motivational system of caregiving and on empathy. These studies are developed and conducted with national and international partners. Recently, within the departmental research line entitled  "Theories and practices of care: individual and social well-being" and according to the perspective of the Positive Psychology, She has developed research on the measurement of well-being and positive emotions. Finally, from the perspective of Community Psychology She is also interested in the intergroup emotions related to the immigrants’ strategies of acculturation. On this subject She is developing studies with international partners.

Research groups

Departmental Interdisciplinary Research - EMOTIONS (ARIdip – EMOTIONS)
The Group focuses on emotions as the subject of theoretico-empirical study in the field of human sciences, highlighting and increasing the possible contributions arising from philosophy, psycho-paedagogy and sociology.
Volunteering and Third Sector Organisations
The group was born as a result of previous collaborations between members of the Department and colleagues from other universities on the subject of volunteering. The research activity is aimed at analyzing the Third Sector and the phenomenon of volunteering, with particular attention to how they intertwine with the dynamics and problems that characterise the current society. Particular attention is given to new forms of volunteering. From a methodological point of view, the methodological approaches of the different human sciences will be applied in integrated ways. This is expected to favour the emergence of a multidisciplinary look on the phenomenon. Finally, the research activity is aimed to develop projects and research-intervention that directly involve various subjects of the territory.
