Learning outcomes

The Survey is a fundamental method in Social Sciences.
How to design a survey with scientific validity ? How to carry out an opinion or a market survey by modern techniques ?
This course introduces in a simple way the sampling theory and some sampling techniques, analyzing the validity of a research design and the quality of collected data.
The modern computer assisted surveying technologies are then presented by means of tutorials and laboratorial activities, allowing the students to try and use a modern survey system software.
