The aim of the course is to introduce students to the mechanism of the political communication with particular regard to the media campaign in order to the construction of the leader’s image. There will also be an emphasis on the new communication technologies.
Course Content: Topics will include the main concepts regarding mass communication, analysis of some campaigns of the recent political history and consideration of the impact on the media and political system. A monographic part will be dedicated to the evolution of the risk concept and to its influence on media image of the political leader.
