The course aims to provide a basic knowledge regarding private law main topics, linked to no-profit sector.
In default of an uniform codification of no-profit sector, the course will summarize and give an excursus about non-commercial organizations main features, associative forms and administration, with attention to public corporations relations and role on welfare services.
Associations, foundations, committees. Distinctive features. Setting up of an association. Charter, statute, social purpose. Legal person. Recognized and unrecognized associations. Responsibility of staff and administration. Models of association. Non-profit sector in terms of private law. Laws creating features related to the third sector. Differences from for-profit organizations. ONLUS and non-profit social enterprise. Non-profit tax relieves.
