Learning outcomes

To make the acquaintance of a specific disciplinary sphere of philosophy: an intersection between psychology, theory of history and ethics. Prerequisiti: Conoscenza manualistica della storia della filosofia.

Through direct consideration of three different perspectives concerning the self-interpretative essence of man, the course will investigate the following thesis: the introspective psychological evidence founds the truthful and constructive framework of anthropological theories.

(Note: Dilthey and Ricoeur’s texts might be hard to find at the book-shop, for this reason they’ll be available at the Philosophy department’s Library, together with other examined texts; it’ll be allowed to photocopy them -except for Royalties’ limits-).
