The course intends to offer the students the occasion to historically and methodologically deepen the complex evolution of the School and of its formalities of education. Through the critical comparison with characters, problems and documents it will be tried to practise the method of the scientific search in historical field, in the attempt to overcome the aprioristic positions and to permit the acquisition of methodological openings.
The history of the scholastic education in Italy, from the end of the Eighteenth Century to our days, above all through the diffusion of literacy skills, with close analysis of the teachers training during different critical events. Particularly the school during the fascist period.
