Service note
Davide Bondì is among the members of the Scientific Committee of the National Edition of the Works of Antonio Labriola, of «Storiografia. Annual Journal of History» and of the «Revista de Teoria da História» (Brazil). He is editor of the «Giornale critico della filosofia italiana» and Italian Ambasssador for the International Network for the Theory of History (INTH, University of Ghent). He founded and directs, with Alessandro Savorelli, «Le filosofie in Italia. Series of texts and studies» at the publisher Bibliopolis. His areas of research focus on classical German philosophy, nineteenth- and twentieth-century Italian philosophy, and contemporary Anglo-American philosophy, with a prevailing interest in theories of historical thought. He has published books on Friedrich D.E. Schleiermacher, Antonio Labriola and Pasquale Villari, the debate on the philosophy of history after the linguistic turn (Carlo Ginzburg, Hayden White, Frank Ankermsit, Hans-Ulrich Gumbrecht, Eelco Runia). He edited three volumes of the National Edition of the Works of Antonio Labriola and one volume of the National Edition of the Works of Benedetto Croce (with complete critical apparatus).
