The course is focused on the neuro-psychology development of the social brain, related to attachment styles. This step is fundamental for the ability to cope with stress.
From the concept of mental health will bridge with distressful relationships, on regard to adult behaviour as we can observe at work.
Clinically these deseases can be either apart or connected to the pathological side of the personality but both must be referred to the emotions and affects individual competence.
References will include the intersubjective psychoanalitical theory in connection to the cognitive science and neuroscience.
Metodologically we will aim to sustain in students a professional psychological attitude in order to reconnaize anxieties, ambivalence and conflicts at work with a view to thinking about. This model leads students to achieve ability to use the observation for critical thinking through proper questions as a way to explore the reality deeply.
One of the useful application of clinical knowledge to the organization of work concerns the role of emotions in making decisions in respect of defensive mechanisms triggered by anxieties, particualrly in facing transition towards changes. From this perspective we will show the holding function of the consulent as part of change process either of the individual progress and interrelated with personal and organization styles and dynamics.
Students will be required to joint a work discussion as an introduction to a reflective function for the assessment of a way of intervention.
