Learning outcomes

Aesthetics is the study of beauty and art as well as of the general aesthetic dimension (perceiving, feeling, affection). This investigation concerns the relationship of art with history and ages. Goal of aesthetics as well as of philosophy is “to create concepts” (Gilles Deleuze) investigating the ontological meaning of works of art as well as their relationship with the history and men’s life. The aim of the course is to clarify the meaning of this philosophical investigation in relation to significant issues and authors.
