Learning outcomes

Module: Didactics of motor activities

The aim of the course is to provide knowledge and skills that allow the planning and conduct of motor activity lessons with primary school students.

Students and students will know:
The characteristics of their motor skills and their attitudes towards motor experience;
The main contents related to the formation of motor skills and physical abilities applicable in school motor education.
The peculiarities of teaching motor activities with primary school children;

Students and students will be able to produce programs for the modification of their abilities and operational programming of modules / teaching units / teaching units / lessons.
Module: Fundamentals of motor activities

The aim of the course is to provide knowledge of the epistemological foundations of motor sciences applied to education through movement in the school

Students and students will know the fundamental epistemological elements of the Motor Sciences and will be able to produce motor activity programs for primary school;

Syllabus

Module: Didactics of motor activities
-------
The methodological / didactic approach to the different situations of movement will be analyzed.

The topics covered in the lessons will be:
Methodological approaches for teaching / learning motor skills
Measurement of motor skills and abilities
Operational planning of physical activities for lessons, modules, learning units
Experiences in teaching / learning motor skills in the context of basic motor patterns, pre-acrobatics, group and team games


Module: Fundamentals of motor activities

In particular, the main theories on motor learning and the methodological / didactic approach to different movement situations will be analyzed.

The topics addressed will be:
Terminological definitions and fields of motor experience of human beings;
Motor skills and bodily availability of the teacher;
The role of the movement in the experience of the young human being: The praxic - adaptive - preventive - expressive roles;
Motor learning;
Motor skills and abilities (theory): Principles of training of motor skills;
Principles of programming school motor activities;
Adapted physical activities;
Evaluation in school physical education.


Module: Laboratory

The following topics will be developed: basic motor (evolutionary) individual and group motor activities with and without tools; routes and circuits; contact and contrast games; starting athletics; start-up for artistic gymnastics and pre-acrobatics; games of popular tradition; folk dances, expressive motor activities.

Students and students will have a personal experience of the main motor activities applicable in the school environment and of their teaching for the formation of motor skills and physical abilities.

Assessment methods and criteria

The evaluation is divided into three parts: the first involves a short multiple choice questionnaire (about ten minutes). Those who pass the test, immediately afterwards, will have an hour to prepare an educational design scheme dedicated to a topic. The design will be the subject of the final interview together with general knowledge on the course. All parts of the evaluation will take place below.
