The course aims to study the mode of access to knowledge of objects and social relations, mediated primarily by the language. The course aims to analyze how the social reality (in its various spheres of meaning) is socially constructed and that the task of the sociology of knowledge is to analyze the processes pass through which this occurs. Social reality, knowledge and language (as a first form of social legitimacy) are detailed and themed concepts.
Within a class, the following topics will be developed:
- The social construction of reality
- From the common sense knowledge to the specialized knowledge
- Language as a constitutive dimension of the human
- Language as a collective heritage
- Language as a tool
- Globalization and new semanticof the inequalities
- Location of the self, biographies working and new forms of reflexivity in the complex society
