In order to understand the existential cultural and formative of medial education first of all we must know the basic COGNITIVE and METACOGNITIVE processes that characterize human beings who use various media and supports from childhood to adulthood. Specifically, it is appropriate to investigate these processes when MEDIA meet MESSAGES and ARTISTIC meanings. Likewise the concepts of TEXT, TEXT TRANSFORMATION and INTERTEXTUALITY, point to a aware process management interpretation of self and others. Thanks to these insights, teachers will be able to design pathways involving all media (from paper to ICTs), for teaching at the same time conscious and creative.
Thematic units will be:
- Media and communication theories
- Multimedia and cognitive processes
- Text and intertextuality
- Narrative Metacognition and didactic methods
- Creativity in education technology
