At the end of the course, the participants:
- know the essential epistemological and methodological lines of qualitative interviews and their main types
- have awareness of the type of data that the interview makes available
- know how to design data collection based on interviews in a manner consistent with their research design
- are able to identify the functions and limitations of using interviews
- know how to set up the design of an interview outline

PART II Constructing an interview guide (workshop)
In the workshop, participants will be invited to share their research studies or sub-studies that might involve the use of interviews and to discuss the specific knowledge it entails in their area.
Following the key steps presented in Part I, they will be invited to draft an interview guide with the supervision of the instructor, who will provide individual feedback on internal coherence and quality of the questions.
