With a single CFU (Credit Formative Unit), it is not possible to fully cover the basic topics of macroeconomics, even in a concise manner. Therefore, a classic theme has been selected: the nature, measurement, and causes of the wealth of nations, with a focus on national accounts.
1. Nature of Wealth: A case study of the Tableau Économique
2. Measurement of Wealth: From Quesnay to Leontief, Kuznets, and Stone
3. Examples of National Accounting Tables for Italy
4. The Problem of Prices and Techniques for Measuring Real Wealth
5. The Causes of Wealth: Supply-side and demand-side perspectives
The exam will be the final one only. There will be no individual exams for this subject
