Syllabus

The module offers an appraisal of the main clichés surrounding the idea of the Middle Ages that are often reproduced in textbooks; they will be discussed through a methodological dialogue with the teacher. The reassessment of these stereotypes will be carried out through the reading of sources of different types, with particular attention to the relationship between past and present, between general history, local history and the environment that surrounds us and middle-school students.
