Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student must have acquired knowledge and skills in relation to the dynamic of classroom (teacher-student relationship) and staffroom processes (teacher-co-worker relationship, and teacher-leader relationship). In particular, the student must have acquired knowledge and skills that enable to applly attachment theory to view professional relationships in schools.

Syllabus

The course will focus on the following thematics:
- attachment theory and the teacher-student relationship
- attachment theory and the classroom
- support and lack of support
- the emotionality of teaching
- perceived self-efficacy in the school

Assessment methods and criteria

The exam will be written.
The exam will include 20 multiple choice questions equally related to the two modules: Educational Psychology (3 CFU, Prof. Fontecedro) and Social Psychology (3 CFU, Prof. Berlanda).
There are no differences between attending students and non-attending students in relation to exam content, modes and texts.
