Learning outcomes

At the end of the course the student must have acquired knowledge, skills and theories of Social Psychology in relation to attitudes, behaviors and dynamic of educational relationship (educator-user relationship) and
staffroom processes (educator-co-worker relationship).
In particular, the student must have acquired knowledge and skills that enable to applly attachment theory to view professional relationships in educational field.

Syllabus

The course will focus on the following thematics:
- attachment theory and the educator-user relationship
- the emotionality of educational relatioship
- committment and social support
- job satisfaction
- perceived self-efficacy

Assessment methods and criteria

Students will be examined on the basis of:
verification of the comprehension skills of the theories illustrated; verification of knowledge relevant to the application of these competences in the educational context; verification of the capacity for appropriate application of the processed content and the use of methodological elements learned.
The exam will be written and it will include a term paper and five multiple-choice questions. Term paper will be evaluated by assigning a score between 0 and 5. For multiple-choice questions, the score is 0 (incorrect response) or 2 (correct response). Scores will be summed up to form a final score.
