Learning outcomes

In this teaching lab students will develop professional competences in relation to: - the international and national indications of the didactics of the geography: - the educational needs of the pupils; - the integrated management of the class.

Syllabus

These education and teaching geographic lab activities are finalized to analyze and experiment personalized and creative didactics.
Based on the International and National Programmes, different didactic strategies approaches are presented, suited for the children needs, mainly developed on small group activities.
Considering the sense of the geography teaching in our contemporary society, in this laboratory students can experiment activities concerning own geographic spaces and experiences, citizenship, sustainability.

- represented spaces
- photos and captions
Main activities:
- writing a geographic autobiography
- construction of scale models (with material recycled) of Verona known spaces
- Padlet.net, LearningApps.org)

Attendance is mandatory in order to receive the evaluation.

Assessment methods and criteria

The evaluation will be based on:
- continuous presence to the laboratory
- active involvement
- revision of little group creations
