Traditionally, the study of sensory functions coincides with the analysis (each one taken individually), visual, acoustic, tactile, olfactory, etc. The aim of this course is to propose a different and more modern perspective, ie the multisensory perspective, in which the traditional concept of "sensorial modality" is questioned, replacing it with an approach in which sensory processes are considered interconnected active systems and not passive functions independent of each other.
