Lesson timetable

Learning outcomes

Using complementary teaching approaches (lectures on general history, monographic lectures on specific topics, seminars and labs aimed at analysing sources), the course aims to provide students with the foundations for an understanding of the reality and dynamics of European societies (XV-XVIII centuries). The course specifically aims to prepare students to be able to give a critical reading of historical events and phenomena.

Syllabus

The course is intended to provide a good grounding in European history in the XV and XVIII centuries; the tools needed in order to interpret the most important moments of economic, social, political-institutional and cultural transformation and how to analyse and contextualize a historical document.
