Object of this course is knowing the actual changements in the work world, referring to organizational and contents dimension, and acquire the main reading keys of sociology of work. Studying classic and contemporaneous sociologists and specific central themes of the research activity actually held in sociology of work, you may individuate concepts, interpretative models, analysis instruments for the main themes about work, to understand in particular the constructing relationship between work changements and training.
The course is composed of two parts. In the first part we face general work aspects. Analyzing reflections of the main authors who characterized the development of sociology of work, we’ll see in one hand specificities of the discipline and in the other hand the contribute it has given during times to interpret rule, contents and changements of work. In the second part we’ll consider the different work dimensions (employment, unemployment, work market, work division, etc.), with a particular attention to the aspects relating to the relation between actual changements in work and training.
