The aim of the course is to offer some conceptual and methodological instruments necessary to study developmental processes, referring to the main theoretical approaches and the possible applications. Moreover, these processes will be taken into account considering the interactions among social, cognitive and affective aspects.
The course will deal with the main aspects of perceptual, cognitive, linguistic, affective and social development, considering different ages (infancy, childhood, adolescence). There will be frontal lessons and active forms of learning, with the possibility to gain a deeper knowledge through exercises or analysis and critical discussion of texts chosen by the students or from other bibliographic sources.
