The course intends to show that the apparent neutrality of pedagogy and educational practices can be opened and enriched thanks to the category of sexual difference. Being a woman/man, within pedagogical research and educational processes, has a resulting important gain in subjectivity.
The first part of the course will be dedicated to a theoretical-account of what we should understand by the free sense of sexual difference. By working through theories, practical references and particularly significant texts, we will enter into the merit of the themes that have accompanied female thought since the 1960’s.
The second part of the course will involve the active participation of the students and will concentrate on the questions these reflections open. We will then engage in making educational thinking materials from these thoughts.
During the course, Giacomo Mambriani will conduct an open meeting under the title Percorsi maschili nelle relazioni di differenza.
