Course is up to offer to the students an overview on the main organizational models applied in the past and in the present by the enterprises and organizations in general. Specifically, it will deepen the theories and the paradigms of the Human Resources Management, taking into consideration the main organizational patterns which permit to value more efficiently and effectively the human work. Moreover, the new paradigms of the networking society and new governance styles both in the private enterprises and public institutions will be carefully studied, e.g. territorial pacts, integrated territorial management, public and private organizations agreements and partnerships, diversity management etc. The educators are stimulated to be competent players in this scenario, as designers of educational programmes for the human resources empowerment, as executors of training and coaching activities, as evaluators of the outcomes.
The programme encompasses the following contents :
-Theories of the organization
-Definition and problems
-Organization of the work and technologies
-The patterns of the modern organization
-The classic organization models (Weber, Fayol, ecc.);
-The scientific organization of the work (Taylor, Ford, Gilbreth, etc.)
-The crisis of the classic models and the human relations theories (Münsterberg, May,Bass, Lewin, Likert,etc.)
-The motivation (McGregor, Herzberg, etc.);
-Herbert Simon and his theory of the limited rationality
-The Quality Systems and their impact on the organizational change
-The networking and the partnerships
