The research project aims to study In detali the role and behavior of contraries in various cognitive
functions in order to extend the body of research on which a proposal for a generai cognitive theory of
opposition can be based. The project consists of five lines of action: l) CONTRARIES AND PERCEPTUAL
PROCESSES; II) CONTRARIES AND PROBLEM SOLVING; III) CONTRARIES AND LANGUAGE; IV) CONTRARIES ANO EMOTIONS and IV) METHODOLOGICAL ASPECTS IN THE FORMALIZATION AND MODELING OF CONTRARIES. Further details are provided in the scope of work attached here.
