Martina Faccini is a PhD candidate in Human Sciences. Her research interest concerns intergroup contact, stereotypes between different social groups and prejudice. In particular, she is interested in investigating how intergroup contact in its different forms and expressions can have effects on intergroup attitudes and under what conditions it leads to a reduction in prejudice towards the outgroup. In her PhD project she is particularly interested in online intergroup contact and its effects on attitudes and behavioural intentions of majority and minority social groups.
