Ivan Traina is a senior researcher in special education at the Department of Human Sciences. His areas of research concern: Inclusion; Assistive Technologies (AT) and ICT for learning in educational environments; Participatory and emancipatory approaches; Empowerment of young adults with intellectual disabilities for acquiring job and independent living skills; Transition programs (school to work) and curriculum development through a person-centered approach.
