• knowledge of the methods of professional intervention on personal situations, family situations and groups charac-terized by high complexity
• knowledge for planning, organizing and evaluating interventions in the field of social policies
ABILITY TO APPLY KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING
ability to design and implement highly complex social and health services;
ability to interpret the different situations of hardship and to promote the well-being of the community;
reading and decision-making skills inherent to the problems of integration between social and health services;
decision-making ability in complex organizational situations.
The aim of the course is to acquire the ability to design and implement individual and community interventions in sit-uations of particular complexity, urgency and emergency, based on the main theoretical models of social work and to acquire a methodological competence that connects individuals and subjective aspects with the macro-social dimen-sions of problematic situations. A second objective is that of understanding the meaning and methods of implementing professional evaluation, placing it in the process of both individual and community aid and in the innovative perspective of generative welfare. Students will be led to know how to use tools and strategies for evaluation and intervention in complex situations, including specific reflections on the social and ethical responsibilities connected to them; to be able to develop tools to integrate theoretical knowledge with the experiential knowledge of users and professionals themselves; to know how to activate an interdisciplinary dialogue and a constant integration with the various subjects, institutional and community, involved in the help processes.
