The aim of the course is to provide the basic knowledge necessary for epistemological and hermeneutical reflexions on qualitative analises in General Anthropology. Next academic year a part of the course will be dedicated to the methodologies of Historical Anthropology.
The main analogical, dialogical and textual mechanisms of anthropological knowledge will be studied. In particular, Historical Anthropology will be focused (and this study will also form a significant basis for possible educational projects aimed at comparing different “collective histories”). The opportunity for the development of research into Historical Ethnography will be offered to those attending this course. This research will be either individual or in groups and will be prepared, guided and discussed during the course.
