The course aims at:
- providing students with a general overview on hermeneutics as a critical theory about the action of understanding and interpreting narrative texts;
- helping students to know the main features of hermeneutic research on training practices through some examples
- helping students to analyze educational practices in literature and in texts collected on the field
The course will deal with the following topics:
- hermeneutics as a critical theory about the action of understanding and interpreting narrative texts
- educational and training practice as a text to be interpreted
- analyzing educational practices as translating and putting the sense in words
- analyzing educational practices starting from literary texts

Oral exam. Further details will be provided at the beginning of the course (Syllabus). The assessment will also include an evaluation of a student’s personal written work to be approved by the teacher.
